How to measure your head for a better performance cap fit

Sixty seconds with a soft tape solves most fit problems before they start.

The number one reason a performance cap feels wrong isn't the hat. It's the head measurement. Or the lack of one.

The method

  1. Take a soft tape measure. Not a rigid one.
  2. Wrap it around your head roughly 1 cm above your ears and eyebrows — the widest point.
  3. Keep the tape snug but not compressed. It should sit flat against the skin.
  4. Note the number in centimeters.

How NOGNS sizes map

  • APEX Hydro (one adjustable size) — 56–61 cm (22–24 in)

Between sizes?

The APEX Hydro adjusts across its range, so there is no sizing up or down: dial in the closure until the cap sits snug without pressure.
